Baby Silk Yak Yarn

Baby Silk Yak by GABO WOOL is a perfect combination of baby alpaca fibers, mulberry silk, merino fibers and yak – together they create an extremely pleasant yarn for the skin. Baby Silk Yak is a great alternative to mohair-silk yarns.

Baby Silk Yak is a unique yarn. The base for its dyeing is a light gray melange thanks to the use of gray yak fibers. Thanks to this, in colors with light shades, a delicate melange shines through, which looks even more beautiful in projects!

Projects made of this yarn have an exclusive look and fit perfectly into current fashion trends.

Baby Silk Yak is great for projects made of one or two threads. We also recommend it for combining with other yarns. It has as much as 35% silk in its composition, which will help to hold the shape in projects and the yarn itself will give them volume and fluffiness.

For a sweater in size M knitted with a single thread, you need about 100-125 grams of yarn, while for a sweater knitted with two threads – about 200 g!
